ChromVoid Refund Policy
Last updated: May 31, 2026
This Refund Policy applies only to ChromVoid Pro Lifetime Device License ("LDL") purchases completed through the ChromVoid website using Paddle checkout.
If we publish a translated version of this policy, the English version is the source of truth unless we explicitly say otherwise.
This policy does not change your local vault risk. ChromVoid cannot decrypt, recover, or delete your local vault contents for you.
1. Paddle Web Purchases
ChromVoid Pro LDL web purchases made through Paddle may be refunded if you contact us within 30 days after the order completion date.
To request a refund, email:
Include the purchase ID, order email if you used one, and a short description of the reason for the request. Do not send vault passwords, recovery material, private keys, seed phrases, or decrypted vault contents.
We aim to respond to refund requests within 2 business days.
2. How Refunds Are Processed
Paddle is the merchant of record for supported ChromVoid web orders. Card, tax, invoice, fraud-review, payment-method, and refund-processing steps are handled through Paddle systems.
Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method where Paddle and the payment network support it. Processing time may depend on Paddle, the payment method, the card issuer, bank, region, and fraud or compliance checks.
Some live Paddle refunds may require Paddle approval before money is returned to the buyer. A refund request is not complete until Paddle approves and processes the refund.
For Paddle payment questions, buyers may also use Paddle buyer support:
3. Access After Refunds and Chargebacks
When a Paddle refund is approved, ChromVoid may revoke the related Pro LDL entitlement, license account binding, and future activation access for that purchase.
When a payment dispute, chargeback, or chargeback warning is received, ChromVoid may revoke the related Pro access immediately while the payment issue is reviewed.
Revocation affects server-side license status, entitlement sync, license recovery, and new activation codes. It does not delete local vault data from your devices. A device that already has an offline certificate may not lose local Pro behavior instantly; the certificate and later status checks remain subject to ChromVoid Terms and license validation.
4. Exclusions
This policy does not apply to:
- purchases made through app stores;
- purchases made through crypto checkout, resellers, manual invoices, or other non-Paddle channels;
- support, custom, enterprise, professional, or separately contracted services;
- payments outside the 30-day request window, unless mandatory law or provider rules require otherwise; or
- abuse, fraud, resale, chargeback misuse, sanctions, export-control, or other policy-violation cases.
App-store purchases follow the refund rules and restore flows of the relevant app store. Other purchase channels may have separate provider rules, fees, or refund mechanics.
5. Mandatory Rights
Nothing in this policy limits any mandatory consumer, payment-provider, app-store, or other legal right that cannot be waived by contract.
Taxes, network fees, exchange-rate differences, payment-provider fees, app-store fees, crypto transaction costs, and similar third-party costs may be non-refundable unless mandatory law or provider rules require otherwise.
